Our senior curriculum is structured around discrete subjects, with time allocated to each subject in a weekly timetable for each year group.

 

Our schemes of work are differentiated, providing challenge or support where appropriate. Our style of teaching tends to be 'relational', recognising that collaboration is often very fruitful.

Due to the location and nature of the school site, we enjoy taking learning outside of the classroom for subjects including art and science, as well as for PE and gardening.

Years 7-9

Our secondary lessons include a mixture of practical and theoretical subjects, from English, maths and science through to music, CDT, French and Physical Education.

Years 10-11

All of our students study the EBacc subjects – english language, maths, core science and additional science, history and french. Additionally, we offer GCSEs in religious education, english literature and art, as well as our Level 2 CLAIT and Level 2 higher project qualifications.
