Having taught in the school for nearly twenty years, including two years as Vice-Principal, Simon became Principal in September 2015.
Simon holds a degree incorporating English and politics as well as Qualified Teacher Status. A former pupil of the school, Simon now teaches our Focus curriculum as well as GCSE Religious Education.
He is married to Mandy; they have three children, all of whom attend the school. He is the school’s deputy designated safeguarding lead.
One of the school’s longest-serving members of staff, Sarah teaches and has oversight for the Foundation Phase. She also teaches GCSE maths to Years 10 and 11. Married to Ian, they have three adult children, all of whom have attended the school.
Another of the school’s long-serving members of staff, Suzanne teaches Years 3 and 4, whilst having oversight for the Lower Phase. Married to Simon, they have three adult children, all of whom have been pupils in the school.
Having joined Immanuel School in September 2014, Jenny now oversees the Middle Phase. Her teaching responsibilities include art, focus and English up to GCSE level. A past pupil of the school, Jenny has recently taught at secondary level in the state sector. She is married to David.
A highly experienced science teacher, Laura carries oversight for the Upper Phase, whilst also teaching science and art up to GCSE level. She is married to Chris; their two adult children have both attended Immanuel School.
